How to play
Ships are straight and never touch, not even diagonally. Each number on the edge tells how many ship cells its row or column holds. Tap: ship, then water, then empty.
Example
The 2 in row 1 and the 1s in the columns give a two-cell ship at the top; the 1 in row 3, a one-cell ship. They don't touch, not even diagonally.
Tips to get better
- A row or column with 0 is all water: mark it first.
- Around a ship cell, the four diagonal cells are always water.
- Place the biggest ship first: it often has only a few possible spots.
What this game trains
- Logical reasoning: deduce the solution from the rules, without guessing.
- Visuospatial perception: picture shapes, positions and paths.
