How to play
A five- or six-letter French word is shown: find another word made of exactly the same letters (CHIEN gives NICHE), then the next one. Any known anagram counts. You may skip a word (30 s penalty). Fastest wins.
Example
With exactly the same letters in another order, CHIEN becomes NICHE. CHINE counts too: any other known anagram is accepted, but not the starting word.
Tips to get better
- Think of other forms: a conjugated verb (DOIVE), a plural or a feminine count too.
- Alternate vowels and consonants: most everyday words follow that rhythm.
- A rare letter (Z, X, K, W, J) narrows things down: start from it.
- Stuck for more than thirty seconds? Skipping costs 30 s: sometimes the right call.
