Play Number MemoryFree, zero ads, no sign-up, on mobile and desktop.
How to play
The number appears, then hides: type it on the keypad and confirm. Remembered: one point and one more digit next time. Missed: one life, and another number of the same length. Most numbers remembered wins; on a tie, the fastest.
Example
The number 4827 shows for a few seconds, then hides: type it back from memory. Next, a 5-digit number.
Tips to get better
- Split the number into groups of two or three digits, like a phone number: 48 27 16 is easier than 482716.
- Repeat the number under your breath while it shows, then again as you type it.
- Look for landmarks: a year (1789), an age, a repeated digit.
What this game trains
- Working memory: keep a few items in mind and recall them.
- Attention and focus: quickly pick out the right item among distractors.
