How to play
The grid is fully covered by a complete set of dominoes, from double 0 to the double of the highest number, each once; only the numbers remain. Slide from a cell to its neighbour to place a domino: no two dominoes may carry the same pair of numbers.
Example
The full set from 0 to 1: 0-0, 0-1 and 1-1, each once. The only layout: 0-0 at the top, 1-1 at the bottom, and 1-0 standing on the right.
Tips to get better
- Look for rare pairs: a domino whose two numbers sit side by side in only one place must be there.
- A corner cell, or one hemmed in by placed dominoes, sometimes has a single free neighbour left: its domino is found.
- The set below the grid shows the dominoes already placed: a placed pair cannot be used anywhere else.
What this game trains
- Logical reasoning: deduce the solution from the rules, without guessing.
- Visuospatial perception: picture shapes, positions and paths.
