How to play
Join the dots with one closed loop, with no crossings or branches. Each number says how many sides of its cell the loop uses; a cell without a number can have any.
Example
Each 3 has three of its sides on the loop. Only one closed loop allows it: it goes round three cells in an L shape, with no crossing or branch.
Tips to get better
- Start with the 0s: none of their four sides is on the loop, mark them with crosses.
- A 3 in a corner forces both corner sides; two 3s side by side force the line between them and both outer lines.
- Every dot has zero or two lines: a dot with one line and a single free exit must continue the loop.
What this game trains
- Logical reasoning: deduce the solution from the rules, without guessing.
- Visuospatial perception: picture shapes, positions and paths.
