How to play
The grid is split into zones of 1 to 5 cells. A 3-cell zone holds 1, 2 and 3; a 5-cell zone, the digits 1 to 5. Two cells that touch, even at a corner, never hold the same digit. A few digits are given: find the others.
Tips to get better
- A one-cell zone always holds 1: place it straight away.
- A given digit rules that digit out of the 8 cells around it: look first at zones that touch several equal digits.
- In a 2-cell zone, if one cell touches a 1, it holds the 2 and the other the 1; the same reasoning works in larger zones.
What this game trains
- Logical reasoning: deduce the solution from the rules, without guessing.
- Attention and focus: quickly pick out the right item among distractors.
